Below is our recent single mom recipient that will be receiving our "beautiful woman" gift basket along with a poem.

I feel Patricia is a good recipient of the Basket of Smiles, because she is a single mother of three beautiful girls. She works a full time job and still manages to be active in her community, church and her children's lives. She starts her day at 5:00a.m each morning preparing breakfast and getting her children ready for school which includes doing hair and finishing last minute test prep for each child if they have a test that day. While still making it to work at 8:00a.m each morning. Her day often ends each night at 1:00 a.m each night after she has gotten off work from working 8 to 9 hours a day, then picking her children up from various after school practices, preparing dinner, helping children complete homework and other school related projects, preparing clothing for each child to wear the next day, giving baths and finally tucking children away in bed. There is never a dull moment for Patricia, when not working during the week she is found working at the church on a program or meeting with her women's group where she is the Secretary of the group. She is consistently organizing and planning things. She will tell everyone she meets that her children are the number one priority in her life and she will do anything she needs to do to make sure they are happy and living a healthy productive life.

I think she will be a great candidate for the Basket of Smiles program because Patricia is one that doesn't look to receive things nor will she ask for anything.
